Hey everyone, hope your all having a great summer so far and are looking forward to University life.
During your time in Cayley we will be your media reps. We will advertise the social event by creating short videos, posters FB groups etc. to make sure that you don’t miss an event.
As a hall we have big plans for 2011/12 and it all starts with freshers. The social secs are planning some amazing nights out for you and as media we will be recording it all for you by taking photos or filming it, so that we can remind you all what you were up to the night before, and embarrass you for it.
This year, media wants to do things a little different. During your first few days, we are going to start recruiting freshers for a new media committee/sub-committee. The plan is to get you more involved with the hall and the goings on. We would like people to take pictures of all the sport, RAG and action events so that they can be put up on the website and facebook. As well as this we would also like people to write articles about these events or anything else that interests you. If this is something you are interested in or if it crosses over to your course this is a great way to get involved, meet more people and give back to the hall. If you want to help out with designing the posters , website maintenance or video editing that would be great as well, and it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any experience as we can teach you and try lend you anything you need. If you think you would be interested in something like this please come and talk to us and we can give you some more info.
